Mung & Veg soup diet to reduce approx. 3-6 kgs in one month!!
Mung beans are considered as one of the “most cherished foods” in the ancient Indian practise that’s been a traditional form of medicine since thousands of years.
Mung beans are a high source of nutrients including manganese, potassium, magnesium, copper, zinc and various B vitamins. They are also very filling food, high in protein, with resistant starch and dietary fiber.
Method of Intake:
Prepare mung & vegetable soup and consume only this soup for 15 days. Whenever you feel hungry, drink this soup. This low-fat high fibre soup is effective in reducing the excess fat from your tummy, waist, hips and thighs. You feel fresh and more energetic. From 16th day to 25th day, along with soup, have fruits of your choice. Last 5 days, return to the normal diet but restrict to fewer carbs, more vegetables and proteins. Following this regimen every month at least for 3-5 months amazingly reduces that extra fat and you look thin fresh and younger.
Recipe of Mung & Veg soup: One cup sprouted mung & 2 cups of vegetables (bottle gourd, carrot, soft gourd (Galka), white pumpkin, tendli, snake gourd. Mix all these vegetables or any 2-3 vegetables. Cook them well in a pressure cooker by adding spices of your choice (ginger garlic paste, asafetida, garam masala, cumin-coriander powder etc). Make soup consistency and garnish with coriander leaves. Your tasty mung & veg soup is ready.
Barley water remedy:
This mixture will help you melt those extra fats and eliminate bloating or swelling with this super detox water. Add one tablespoon of barley and two kokum in two cups of water. Pressure cook this mixture and filter it. Add one teaspoon cumin powder, one teaspoon fennel powder, half teaspoon ajwain powder, one pinch of asafoetida powder(hing) and half teaspoon dry ginger powder. Mix it well and drink this mixture twice a day.

Do’s-
Include lots of vegetables like bottle gourd, white pumpkin, yellow pumpkin, ridge gourd, snake gourd, leafy greens, beans, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, capsicum etc. Include pulses like green mung, yellow mung dal, lentils, red & white millets, barley. Also, have lots of fruits in your diet.
Don’ts’s-
Try to avoid wheat, refined flour, yoghurt, lemon, tamarind, red meat, sour and fermented food items as much as possible. These foods cause inflammation and bloating in the body.
