- Plant-based high fiber foods
High-fiber foods are important to correct digestive functions. They also promote regular bowel movements, fight inflammations, balancing blood pressure and cholesterol levels. MS sufferers may be at higher risk of getting heart problems. High fiber foods improve heart health also.
Include high fiber foods in your daily diet such as:
- Fruits – Pomegranate, papaya,
- Nuts and seeds – Almond, Pistachio, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds.
- Legumes – Yellow and Red Lentils

Basil leaves, cereals, artichokes, kale, blueberries, Raspberries, Walnuts, red cabbage, beans, pomegranate, green tea.
- Foods to avoid
Some foods are harmful to people with any chronic diseases including MS. Hence those foods have to be avoided from your diet.
Definitely stop taking these food items permanently from your diet :
Processed foods, junk foods, red meat, saturated fats, hydrogenated oils, high sodium-containing foods, sugar, wheat and refined flour, yogurt and other sour and fermented foods, deep-fried foods, soda or energy drinks.
