Vitamins are necessary:
Your body just doesn’t need vitamins for a healthy well being, but it is also good for your hair. Vitamin A increases the production of sebum in the scalp. Vitamin B keeps intact the healthy colour and helps maintain your hair. Vitamin E holds antioxidant properties that serve to repair damaged hair follicles and checks tissue corrosion which gives you healthy hair.
A regular wash with a mild shampoo:
Washing your hair regularly would lower down the risks of infections and dandruff that may else lead to hair rupture or breakage. It is a common mindset among Indians that regular use of shampoo can deteriorate your hair, which indeed is a common myth existing in society. Using a shampoo will always give an impression of more volume and looks dense. It prevents hair loss and keeps your scalp clean too.
Massage with essential oils:
The ancient old traditional means was massaging the hair with essential oils. These oils were naturally acquired. Remember your grandma’s picture in an old family album? – She had such luscious hair. Such oils can prove great benefits in current times even. Those experiencing hair loss for a long time must massage the scalp with essential oils for a couple of minutes. Oil is the fodder for your hair and keeps your follicles active. Lavender, Almond or Sesame oil can be used in the process. Try massaging it onto your scalp, during the night before you go to bed and wash in the morning with a mild shampoo. Exposing the hair to pollution under such circumstances can accumulate dirt onto your head and this may raise problems.
An enriched diet with protein:
Eating lean meat, fish and soybean can be of great help to curb hair loss. The omega-3s in fishes serve nourishment to the hair at the follicles, where each one is linked to your scalp. They can well prevent dandruff as well as it adds a healthy shine to your alluring locks. Soybeans can also be used for soft, shiny and smooth hair. Applying of soya bean juice onto the hair regularly for three months can fetch you the desired results.
Garlic, onion or ginger juice:
Rinse one of these juices onto your scalp and leave it overnight to see desired results.
You should avoid brushing wet hair:
A wet hair is in its weakest state. Do not brush wet hair in such circumstances as it increases the chances of hair loss. But if you really want to comb and it is urgent, use a wide-toothed comb. Avoid brushing hair usually as doing so can damage hair and increase loss. Try using your fingers to undo tangles and not a comb or a brush. This will work.
Rub Green Tea onto your hair:
Brew two bags of green tea in a cup of water. Allow it to cool and rinse it thoroughly after an hour. Repeating the process for a fortnight will show desired results.
Keep yourself hydrated:
Drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated as this will be beneficial for the growth of healthy hair.
Avoid rubbing your hair with a towel and allow it to dry naturally.
Take care of your hair and know what’s bad for your hair:
Decrease or eliminate alcohol consumption and avoid smoking cigarettes that reduce the amount of blood flow to the scalp, causing a reduction in hair growth.
Practice meditation or yoga and keep yourself De-stressed. Take out some time for activities for walking, swimming at least or 30 minutes in a day. This helps balance your hormonal levels.
Keep your hair loose and do not go for ponytails, braids or artificial hairstyles if you are witnessing hair loss. Constant practise of such styles can cause baldness.
Constant heating of hair can also weaken hair proteins and can lead to weakness and frailty that can cause hair loss. Also, avoid the use of chemicals onto the hair. Colouring your hair is not a good option.
