Hair fall can happen to anyone. If an individual doesn’t take care of their diet and lifestyle, they may increase their chances of hair fall. Ayurveda is a natural medicinal healing system that helps the body in staying healthy and away from disease and ill health. With its use of herbs and natural foods, Ayurveda makes sure that our bodies are attuned with nature and therefore there aren’t any side effects experienced while the individual is undergoing treatment. This is the reason why a lot of people opt for Ayurveda when they don’t seem to get any results from modern medicines.
Following are some causes of hair fall which is necessary when knowing how to stop hair fall:-
- Hereditary causes
- Lack of cleanliness in the scalp
- Deficiency of essential vitamins/Nutrition-deficit diet
- Anaemia
- Weakness
- Stressful lifestyle
If the cause of your hair fall is hereditary, there is little you can do, as you can’t change your genetic material, overnight. However, if a nutritional deficiency is at play, then Ayurveda would be the perfect route to take. According to Ayurveda, most of the diseases in the human body are because of improper digestion, and the toxins that are caused because of this. Ayurveda aims to reduce the toxins in the body, thereby providing the individual, relief from the disease.
The key to a solution is knowing how to stop hair fall. A misconception is that simply applying Ayurvedic hair oil will take care of hair fall. This is a BIG misconception. Although hair oil does help in improving the health of the scalp, it can’t be the only solution to hair fall problems. What is needed, along with Ayurvedic hair oil, are personalized diet plans, herbs and herbal pills, creams and lotions that are derived from Ayurvedic plants. All of these remedies are there in Ayurveda’s 5000-year-old medical system. The only thing left is a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner who can prescribe the right treatment method for you.
Hair Loss is pretty common among a lot of individuals. Hair loss affects both genders. Although more common in men, hair fall can be seen in women as well. Unfortunately, this concept isn’t ingrained in the mind of today’s society and therefore a woman with hair fall problems might experience depression and dejection when dealing with the people around her. If only people would pay more attention to their hair problems, they wouldn’t have to go through all of this.
Knowing how to stop hair fall depends on a lot of factors. One important factor is the type of hair fall.
There are three different types of hair:-
Normal Hair: Normal hair needs to be washed every two/three days. Treatments should include henna or tulsi. Rubbing wet hair should be avoided as it can stretch and may break.
Dry Hair: Dry hair gets affected due to lack of nutrition. Dry hair becomes limp. The damage will make it lose its elasticity and make it prone to breaking. Avoid strong shampoos and use almond or olive oil (preferably warm) to massage it.
Oily hair: Too much starch or fats in the food can affect this kind of hair. Since oily hair becomes dirty and oily easily, it needs to be washed more frequently. Avoid too much oil application or any excessive rubbing of a scalp.
Combination hair: This kind of hair has the properties of all the other hair types and needs washing every few days. Protein shampoo can nourish this type of hair. The condition of the hair is also preferable.
To know about Ayushakti’s natural remedies to treat hair fall problem
According to Ayurveda, hair is a by-product of the bones. In other words, the product with which hair is made comes from our skeletal systems. All the different parts of the body are nourished through different channels. This nourishment stems from the digestive fire in our bellies. Disruption in this digestive fire or any kind of obstruction in the channels can block the nourishment to the hair and eventually lead to hair fall. That is why Ayurvedic treatments heavily emphasize the importance of a nutritious diet.
